K9 Bed Bug Treatment

To ensure Seaside Pest Control delivers the most effective service possible, we kindly request that you carefully review and complete all the necessary steps listed below. Following these steps will ensure that your technician can perform a safe and successful treatment.

Preparation Prior to Service

GENERAL PREPARATION

Please do not approach or greet the dog. The K9 and handler will inspect the premises alone.

PET AND FOOD PREPARATION

Please do not have any pets in the unit during the inspection. Pet food, pet toys, and other similar items should be put away and out of sight. Clean up food crumbs in all rooms, especially under and around furniture.

CABIN BEDS WITH BUILT-IN STORAGE

SMOKE AND AIR CIRCULATION PREPARATION Do not smoke in your unit at least 2-hours prior to the K9 bed bug detection. Turn off all fans and blowers in the search areas

CLEANING AND CHEMICALS PREPARATION

Do not use any type of household cleaner or disinfectants for at least 24 hours prior to the inspection. Clean up any applied household pesticides, including dust products. Clear as much clutter as possible from areas to be inspected.

CLUTTER PREPARATION

Remove any excess clutter from the inspection area. Clear floors, shelves, and other surfaces, especially under beds and inside closets.

CANNABIS PRODUCT PREPARATION

Remove any Cannabis products from the reach of the dog.

APARTMENTS/SHARED VENTILATION UNITS

Turn off heating/air conditioning systems to prevent circulation to other units in apartments.
