Generally, we recommend staying out of your home during and after any pest treatment for a few hours especially if you have children or are simply concerned about your health. This period can range depending on the type of service we are providing, however, our team at Seaside Pest Control will always let you know in advance and offer some recommendations for your safety.
Pesticides that are used for household pests are formulated with quite low concentration levels. These are intended for designated areas of your home where the pest problem is occurring. Dust and aerosol formulations are intended for application in wall voids, cracks and crevices, and they can be very efficient against pests without any exposed residue.
Pesticides that are intended for application onto surfaces in the open have specific instructions on the label that our technicians at Seaside Pest Control always follow to make sure everything is completed in a safe manner. The instructions usually require that children, infants and adults stay away from all treated areas until it has fully dried. In addition, Seaside Pest Control uses baits to control ants and cockroaches. These baits are either used in small bait stations and placed in areas out of the reach of children/pets or applied in cracks and crevices.
